SkyHope Receives Grant from Sanofi to Provide Free Medical Flights

Farmingdale, NY — SkyHope is proud to announce a $50,000 grant from Sanofi in support of its Medical Flight Program, which offers free air and ground transportation to patients, caregivers, and families in need of access to out-of-town medical care.

With this generous funding, SkyHope will provide approximately 120 flights, helping individuals facing serious illness reach critical treatment, diagnosis, or follow-up appointments otherwise out of reach. The program benefits families who are often forced to delay or forgo essential medical care due to financial or geographic barriers.

“Access to health care should never be determined by where someone lives or whether they can afford to travel,” said Donna Collins, Executive Director of SkyHope. “We are deeply grateful to Sanofi for their partnership and shared commitment to health equity. Their support is helping us deliver hope—and healing—to those who need it most.”

SkyHope bridges gaps in the healthcare system by offering free, volunteer-driven transportation to patients across the country. This grant will also help expand outreach efforts to raise awareness among patients, providers, and social workers about the availability of these life-changing services.

You have the power to make critical flights happen

To help a child battling a medical illness get a free flight to a doctor who can save their life. To connect a wounded veteran with a service dog. When you donate to SkyHope, you support people fighting for their lives, and pilots using their skills for the greater good. SkyHope pilots have flown more than 34,000 free missions, lifting the burden for families. With your help, the sky’s the limit for how many missions we can fly and how many lives we can impact. Help us continue to make these flights possible
