Farmingdale, NY, February 24, 2020 – Patient AirLift Services (PALS) announced today that they have hired Brook Leighton to serve as Director of Development and Marketing, overseeing the team responsible for fundraising and marketing activities.
“We are excited to have Brook on board,” said Donna Collins, Executive Director of PALS. “Her personality and experience are a good match for PALS as we continue to grow and ensure our long-term sustainability.”
Brook brings 15 years of nonprofit development, marketing and communications experience to PALS. Her successes include creating innovative programs in individual donor giving, winning large multi-year private grants, organizing a wide array of special events and elevating the visibility of small nonprofits.
At PALS, Brook’s primary responsibilities will be providing strategic direction and supervisory oversight to all of the development, marketing and communications work, as well as building out a number of new initiatives to increase and diversify the revenue of the organization.

Brook studied English and Creative Writing at Princeton University. She also received her juris doctor from Fordham University School of Law. She is an active volunteer with various organizations. She lives in Massapequa with her husband and three young sons.
